Oceana Coffee Roasters is one of the original coffee roasters in Florida, established by Amy and Scott Angelo in 2009. We specialize in single origin specialty coffees from around the world. Our coffees are carefully roasted in small batches at our roasting house and café in the small village of Tequesta, located in Palm Beach County near Jupiter, FL.

We never really intended to become specialty coffee roasters, but when we settled in Jupiter, we realized that there was nowhere local to purchase fresh roasted coffee, so we decided to start roasting our own. We began by converting a $35 eBay popcorn maker into a coffee roaster, and the results were a hit with our friends and family. Eventually we realized that we were onto something marketable.

Today, we are single origin coffee roasters with immense pride in our work. We utilize a variety of fair trade and organic coffee beans, and we take great care to retain the original characteristics of each batch while creating a smooth, flavorful medium-roast. While other coffee shops are content to brew mass-produced, pre-packaged coffee, our customers receive a carefully sourced, meticulously roasted, small-batch coffee, whether you enjoy a cup in one of our shops or order our products online.

We search tirelessly for the best coffees in the world, paying attention to every detail of the growing and harvesting processes, as well as sales and shipping practices. From the early days with the popcorn maker through today’s Giesen “Beast” roaster, we have perfected our roasting skills over time. Today we have two locations in Palm Beach County, FL, as well as our online sales. Oceana Coffee Roasters has grown, but the core of what we do and how we do it will never change.
